Aslı Dinç
Aslı Dinç is a paradisciplinary artist and researcher from Istanbul, based in Berlin. Working across installation, moving image, performance, LARP and participatory systems, her practice investigates how technological power shapes bodies, images, memory and perception. Drawing from cyberfeminism, speculative fiction, cybernetics, hacker culture, gamer theory and investigative methods, she crafts playgrounds that use speculative and dystopian narratives as tools for resistance.
Her works often take the form of machine-vision loops, forensic games, synthetic memory systems, performative investigations and participatory environments where audiences become players, witnesses or operatives. Play, role-based structures and collective sense-making function as research methods for tracing surveillance, classification, technological infrastructures and the political imaginaries embedded in contemporary systems. Her practice also develops through collaborations across sound, composition and live performance.
Her work has been presented internationally at Ars Electronica, IMPAKT, FutureFantastic, Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), Centre Pompidou, UdK Berlin, Kunstraum Kreuzberg and VECTOR Festival.
